#TheThankfulPeopleOfGod: What Are We Thankful For?

What are you thankful for?

What is it that you are thankful to God for? Have you the gift of life? Have you friends and family, siblings in Christ? Have you a purpose? For many things I am grateful, and will always be thankful. It may not be for all days that we will rise from one night’s sleep and begin again, but, as you are reading this now, you’d know, everyday since the day you were born, you were alive. God gave you life and sustained it, and to Him alone is praise and honor.

Today, as we of MCGI (Members Church of God International) await the morrow with which our Three-Day Long International Thanksgiving to God commences, brothers and sisters alike take to twitter to talk about what we are thankful for, with the hashtag #TheThankfulPeopleOfGod.

A long time ago, there was a prophecy of a people called in His name who will profess His great works in thanksgiving, ceasing not. The brethren at Members Church of God International (MCGI) excitedly prepares for such occasions of Thanksgiving with utmost love and devotion, which, I believe, extends to the very beings of our souls.

How about you? What are you thankful for? Let’s all be thankful together.
